Cooling and air conditioning

The pipes are below room temperature in a cooling and air-conditioning system. This temperature difference results in condensation on the outside of the pipe, which can cause corrosion, mould and water damage. This can disrupt the operation of a cooling or air conditioning system and ultimately cause it to malfunction. Condensation can also have other harmful consequences and must be prevented at all times.

For optimum performance, and to guarantee a long lifecycle on a cooling system or air conditioning system, it's important to use high-quality insulation with the right thickness. The vulnerable parts in the system, such as valves, flanges and sensors, must not be forgotten. This is because high thermal losses often occur here. By applying the Aeroflex material, a closed-cell elastomer insulation, thermal bridges are reduced. Essential for a cooling system or air conditioning system to operate optimally.
