AEROFLEX® HF

AEROFLEX® HF - the halogen-free insulation for situations in which you wish to play it safe. The halogen-free Aeroflex HF is particularly notable when it comes to fire safety, partly because fewer toxic vapours are released in the event of a fire. The material is very flexible, UV-resistant and can be applied within a wide temperature range.

 

Insulating material

  • lightweight, flexible EPDM-based insulation material with closed cell structure
  • no embrittlement of copper and steel pipes, in accordance with DIN 1988 part 7
  • exceptional insulation value: λ 0°C = 0.036 W/mK
  • temperature resistance: -50°C to 150°C

 

Applications

AEROFLEX® HF is used for insulating and protecting pipes, tanks and air ducts in which, for safety reasons, only chlorine-free materials can be used.

AEROFLEX® - accessories

In addition to the insulation material, Aeroflex also has an extensive range of accessories for mounting or protecting the material. By making use of the tape, glue, fibreglass cloth, etc., you can be assured that the Aeroflex insulation material will do itself justice.
